Description of Duties

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven embedded software engineer to work on key pieces of video and camera driver stack for Nintendo gaming systems.

Specifically, the candidate will be involved in:
  • Architecting the low level software stack for video and image processing
  • Design and implementation of video encoding and decoding software
  • Design and implementation of ISP driver and camera middleware stack
  • Defining and development of tests for image and video processing functionalities
  • Debugging multimedia related hardware and software issues on Nintendo gaming devices and development platforms

 
Summary of Requirements
  • Excellent programming, debugging, and problem solving skills (C/C++)
  • Excellent working knowledge of image and video processing pipelines
  • Experience with video codec standards, preferably H.264
  • Deep familiarity with multimedia stack on Linux or Window
  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • Be a team player and able to work with a diverse group of engineers across the globe
  • 5+ years of experience working with embedded software development
  • Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
