Pokemon 'perverted' the sexuality of many teenagers from 1985 into the 1990s, according to a study by the Credo Dollar Ministry.
The Atlanta mega church said the first clue to the cartoon's homosexual agenda was the relationship between hero Ash and his companion Brock.
Christ News claimed that Pokemon names, in all languages, 'aims to guide young people towards the choice of homosexuality' and that many had phallic appearances 'to push teenagers to enjoy this type of shape.'
'Charmander never stops caressing his tail in all his appearances,' it said.
'The 151st Pokémon Mew is the perfect representation of the alleged third sex.'
The study comes from the same church whose pastor launched a crowd-funding campaign for a new private luxury jet for $65 million – because God told him it was the right thing to do.
'If all of our existing partners were to sow $300 each, from all over the world, we’d be able to acquire this jet in a very, very short period of time,' said campaign manager Rick Hayes last month.
