This Is How Long Nintendo Switch’s Battery Life Will Last While Playing Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild

The biggest release of March is undoubtedly going to be Nintendo’s newest console the Switch. There is a lot of excitement as well as concerns for Nintendo’s hybrid console. One of the major concerns has been Nintendo Switch’s battery life .

Now a new report has emerged courtesy of Youtube channel GameXplain which apparently suggests that the Nintendo Switch’s battery can hold out for exactly 2 hours and 28 minutes while playing The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild on maximum settings.




For the test  the consoles brightness was turned up to the max and it was charged to the brim . The report also noted that this result is courtesy of a worst case scenario , as the battery life can be increased if you turn off the Wi-Fi and lower the brightness.

Excitement for the Switch is at an all time high an in a recent interview with alistdaily Gamestop’s  senior director Eric Bright spoke about the console’s phenomenal demand.

“We’ve seen tremendous demand for Switch. And of the initial allocation of pre-orders we took, the majority of them were done by PowerUp Reward customers. They’re definitely looking for this device. We have a ways to go before we satisfy all the demand that’s out there.”

“The Q1 launch is one of the smartest moves Nintendo could have done. Instead of pushing units out during the heaviest time of the year (in Q4), this allows them to build a base”




While undoubtedly Nintendo has done really well to ensure that there is considerable hype for its newest console , it remains to be seen how it performs once it is launched  on 3rd March.
